17 May 2006 Summer 06 Belgravia A modern eclectic collection of trevira and FR fabrics that emulate the atmosphere of a luxurious boutique hotel. Drapery fabrics range from the elegance of a taffeta plissé to a floaty linen-effect voile. The beautiful Buckingham damask is complemented by smaller classic co-ordinates and a clean-lined contemporary plaid. The drapery qualities are combined with Portland, a high performance sumptuous back-coated cord, that performs to contract standard. Soft soothing shades of ivory, honey, celadon & delft blue sit comfortably with the more dramatic mocha, charcoal and claret. |

4 October 2005 Crowson Group unveil new £1m state-of-the-art computer system The Crowson Group has invested in an entirely new, state-of-the-art computer system, to streamline all aspects of its business and offer an enhanced customer service. The Group has unveiled new computer hardware and software throughout all its operations worldwide, which ‘went live’ at the beginning of October 2004. Chris Worrall, Marketing Director, explains “We are delighted with the new platform, which will provide more control over our business and give us the information we need in order to continue to give our customers the highest quality service they require”. Derek Crowson, Chairman of the Group, adds: “After almost two years of investment, development, customisation and testing, we are thrilled to have progressed to the new system. 22 October 2004 Monkwell introduce two versatile collections for Spring 2005 Brunswick Brunswick is a stunning collection of plush woven chenilles, in four stylish designs - a luxurious damask, an intricate floral trail, a textured rib and a sumptuous plain. The dense chenille pile makes this fabric incredibly opulent and durable, suitable for drapery, upholstery and contract use when treated to crib 5. The dramatic colour palette includes crimson, gold leaf, ivory, espresso, olive, deep blue and blackcurrant. Hampton Hampton is a modern textured bouclé fabric with a high abrasion rating, making it very durable and suitable for contract use. Available in a selection of warm, earthy tones and soft neutrals through to vibrant reds. |

1 May 2004 Monkwell introduce their new cgc contract folder, featuring a wide range of upholstery & drapery fabrics specially selected for the contract market... Monkwell, under the Crowson Group banner, have introduced an exciting new range of hard-wearing fabrics, vinyls and virtual leathers. Specifically selected for the contract market, all colourways are shown on concise, easy-to-use colour cards, presented in a versatile folder format. Full product specifications relevant to the contract sector are detailed on the reverse of each card. Those customers that have advance copies have already been using them widely. 1 September 2003 Monkwell launch three exciting new collections for Autumn 2003 Janneau - a striking collection of cut velvet jacquards on a heavy linen cloth, inspired by both the contemporary & nouveau style of the eclectic 1930's. Janneau is suitable for domestic and contract interiors, combining the high abrasion of over 40,000 rubs with a very soft, tactile handle. Designs include: Dufrenne - stylised leaf stem, Benois - diamond, Labaye - contemporary two coloured stripe. The dramatic colour palette adds to the impact of the designs, from neutrals, nutmeg, spice, rust, wine, mulberry to denim & indigo, lime & olives, charcoal and black. Eshana - a simple, chic collection of cut suedes in two contemporary designs: Omana - fine stripe, Kishori - all over stylised rose. Eshana is suitable for severe domestic use, for both curtains and upholstery. The colour palette enhances the soft tactile effect of these designs:- colours include neutrals, oatmeals, ochres, henna, carmine, aubergine, cool blues and olives. Pavani - a collection of six designs printed on high quality textured cottons and linens. The designs encapsulate a world influenced by different cultures and ancient travels to the East, and include: Manjari - Persian style trellis, Chandika - henna batik trail of Hindu decoration, Jivanta - floral tree in an oval trellis from the painted boxes of Mexico, Safaya - exotic bold metallic motif, from the rich embellishment of Sultan palaces, Palash - symbolic Indian floral tree of life, Ishani - Eastern paisley, delicately stylised.
